On Saturday, April 21, 2018, join us for Livermore’s Community Service Day where the City will be partnering with various community organizations to coordinate projects around Livermore. Also during the day, there will be a Community Service Fair at Carnegie Park at 2155 3rd Street from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be various booths from non-profit groups and sign-ups will be available for future volunteer events.
April is Community Service Recognition Month, which is a time to celebrate the efforts of volunteers at the local, state, and national levels. Community Service Recognition Month highlights the difference that volunteers are making in our society, as well as the impact of their contributions toward those in need.
Over the past year, the City of Livermore benefited from the efforts of over 700 volunteers from different organizations, who completed over 40 projects throughout the city, working together to make Livermore a better place for all.
Volunteers can sign-up for Community Service day with Liz Simmons at firstname.lastname@example.org or (925) 960-8017.
