Residents of Livermore who reside within the City limits are invited to submit applications to serve as the City of Livermore appointee to the Tri-Valley Conservancy (TVC) Board of Directors.
The board is legally and fiscally responsible for the operation of this non-profit, public benefit corporation. It sets policy; establishes goals, objectives, and budgets for TVC’s programs, consistent with its charter, and the Standards and Practices of the Land Trust Alliance; hires and monitors the performance of the executive director; secures funds to enable TVC to carry out its programs; monitors the use of those funds; and provides volunteer leadership for the organization. The board meets every other month on the fourth Wednesday of even months, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, at Tri-Valley Conservancy’s office at 1457 First Street in Livermore.
Applications must be received in the City Clerk’s office no later than 5:00 pm Thursday, January 3, 2019. Interviews are tentatively scheduled the week of January 7, 2019.
