Citywide Small Business Assistance Grant Program
On August 24, 2020, the City Council authorized the City Manager to implement the Citywide Small Business Assistance Grant Program and appropriate $2 Million from the General Fund for the program. The program will issue grants between $2,000 and $20,000 to reimburse up to 50% of a small businesses’ eligible expenses to acquire services or equipment needed to remain competitive throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The online application link below became live on Monday, August 31st. The following are a few things to remember before starting the application process:
1) Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) before applying. Click here to access the FAQs
2) Funding is available as a 50% reimbursement for one-time purchases that helped your business get back to business during the COVID-19 public health emergency
3) Rent, Utilities, payroll, and general operating expenses are not eligible expenses and will not be considered for funding
