LIVERMORE, Calif. – The City of Livermore is now accepting joint applications for its Commercial Rent Abatement Matching Grant Program from eligible commercial landlords and their small business tenants or lessees that have gross receipts of not more than $10 Million and have experienced financial loss as a result of COVID 19. The program provides financial assistance of up to seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) in matching funds when a commercial landlord has or will permanently waive unpaid rent during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The cumulative total funding available for this program is $409,000. This program is available on a first-come first-served basis and will be available until funds are exhausted.
The City will match the amounts the landlord has waived or is willing to waive in unpaid rent accrued during the COVID-19 pandemic up to $7,500, giving a total combined benefit to the commercial tenants of up to $15,000. The matching grant funds are available per lessee. More information and a copy of the joint application is available at OIED.net.
