Livermore Municipal Water Rebates Increased

Beginning on July 1, 2021, the maximum reimbursement for two water conservation rebates offered to Livermore Municipal Water customers was significantly increased. The City of Livermore encourages all qualified property owners to take advantage of these programs to save even more water this summer. These rebates are only available while funds last, so customers are encouraged to apply soon at www.cityoflivermore.net/rebates.

Water-Efficient Lawn Conversion Rebate
Replace your water-thirsty front lawn with beautiful drought-tolerant landscaping. This rebate will reimburse up to 50% of the cost for plants, mulch, and other supplies, up to the amount listed below.

  • Single-Family Homes: The maximum rebate has been increased from $750 to $2,000.
  • Multi-Family & Non-Residential Properties: The maximum rebate has been increased from $4,500 to $6,000.

High-Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate
Save water and energy by purchasing an Energy Star "Most Efficient"-rated clothes washer. This rebate is only available for single-family homes, and the maximum rebate amount has been increased from $75 to $200.
